About Us

Our Story

Altamirano Hoops Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children from underprivileged backgrounds. We understand that many talented kids face financial barriers that prevent them from accessing quality sports education and training. Our mission is to offer free basketball classes to these children, providing them with an opportunity to learn the game, develop their skills, and experience the joy of playing basketball in a supportive environment.

Beyond teaching basketball, we are committed to fostering essential life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and confidence. By engaging with our program, children receive guidance not only on the court but also in personal growth and character development. We believe that every child deserves the chance to pursue their passion, regardless of their economic situation, and we strive to create an inclusive space where they can thrive both athletically and personally.

Thank you to Mr. Jose, Camila’s grandpa, whose inspiration and spirit laid the foundation for everything we do. Your legacy lives on through our work, and we honor your memory every step of the way. Rest in peace.
